Salt Bake Chicken
Ingredients
- 6 Pcs (750 g) Chicken Drumsticks
- Seasoning
- ¼ tsp Sea Salt
- 1 Tbsp Ginger Juice
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Shaoxing Wine
- A pinch of 5 Spice Powder
- 1 Bag (2 kg) Coarse Salt
- Parchment Paper
- Aluminum Foil
Directions
- Marinate chicken drumsticks with the seasoning for about 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 400ËF.
- Wrap the chicken drumsticks in a parchment paper.
- Place the aluminum foil in a large baking tray. Pour half of the coarse salt on the foil, and place the chicken on the salt. Then pour the rest of the salt on top of the chicken. Wrap the foil tightly and bake the chicken in the oven for about 35 minutes, turn over and bake for another 35 minutes.
- Serve the chicken warm with some Ginger And Scallions sauce, if desired.
