Salsa Verde
Ingredients
- 2 c. coarsely minced fresh tomatillos or possibly 2 cans tomatillos, minced and well liquid removed
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced fresh cilantro or possibly parsley
- 1 pickled jalapeno pepper, minced (from jar)
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon adobo seasoning or possibly garlic pwdr
- 2 to 3 tbsp. lime juice
Directions
- Combine all salsa ingredients in medium bowl, mix well. Chill at least 30 min to blend flavors. Serve with white chili, recipe this book.
