  • Salmon With Cucumber Sour Cream Sauce

    Ingredients

    • 1 c. LAND O LAKES Light Lowfat sour cream
    • 1 med cucumber, peeled, minced
    • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh dill weed*
    • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
    • 1 tsp grated lime peel
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 4 x (about 6 ounces each) salmon steaks
    • 4 tsp LAND O LAKES Margarine

    Directions

    1. Heat gas grill on medium or possibly charcoal grill till coals are ash white.
    2. Meanwhile, combine all sauce ingredients in small bowl; set aside.
    3. Place salmon on grill. Cover; grill 6 min. Turn salmon over. Place 1 tsp. margarine on each salmon steak; spread gently over surface of salmon. Continue grilling for 6 to 8 min or possibly till fish flakes with a fork. Serve with sauce.
    4. *Substitute 2 tsp. dry dill weed.
    5. BROILING DIRECTIONS: Prepare sauce as directed above. Heat broiler. Place salmon steaks on broiler rack 2 to 5 inches from heat. Broil 6 min; turn. Place 1 tsp. margarine on each salmon steak; spread gently over surface of salmon.
    6. Continue broiling for 6 to 10 min or possibly till fish flakes with a fork. Serve with sauce.
    7. Makes 4 servings
    8. Crisp cucumber, fresh dill and fresh lime team up in this delicious sauce served with grilled salmon.
    9. Prep: 15 minutes Grill: 12 minutes
