    Roasted Lemon Chicken with Rosemary

    I like roasting chicken from time to time. Learning new flavors is awesome.

    Ingredients

    • 2kilo Whole chicken, washed
    • 1 head Garlic, minced
    • 1 pcs Lemon, sliced
    • 1 sprig Rosemary
    • Salt and Pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
    2. Set a baking tray ready.
    3. Pat the chicken dry using paper towels and insert a few garlic cloves under the skin. pat the remaining chopped garlic on the surface and inside the cavity.
    4. Rub the chicken with salt both outside and in the cavity.
    5. Arrange the lemon slices on the surface of the chicken using toothpicks.
    6. Insert the rosemary sprigs inside the chicken cavity.
    7. Place the prepared chicken in the oven for 75 minutes.
    8. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for about 5 minutes before service and slicing.
