RaJ KaChOrI
Raj Kachori is a mouth watering chaat,a delicacy of Kolkata...:) Ingredients
- For Dough:
- 2 Cups semolina
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- For Topping:
- 4 Potatoes
- 1/2 Cup whole bengal gram / chana ( soaked over night )
- 1 cup besan pakodies
- 1 Cup yogurt
- 10 Papadi
- 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 5 tbsps Tamarind chutney
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander ( chopped )
- 1/2 Cup Naylon Sev
- 2 tbsp raisins ( soaked )
- 2 tbsp cashew nuts ( chopped )
Directions
- For Dough:
- Mix rava, maida, salt and red chilli powder well.
- Prepare dough.
- Roll out into rotis of equal size.
- Deep fry it.
- For Topping:
- Boil potatoes and cut it into cubes.
- Boil the soaked whole bengal gram
- Soak the Besan pakodies.
- For Topping:
- Make a hole in the center of fried kachoris.
- Fill with cubed potatoes, chana, pakodi ,papdi and curd.
- Spread red chilli powder, cumin seed powder, tamarind chutney and green chutney.
- Put sev ,frsh coriander,raisins and nuts on it.
- Raj Kachori is ready.
