Pork Chop, Rice And Mushroom Casserole
Perfect one pot meal. If you don't like pork chops you could use sliced pork loin. Ingredients
- 6 pork chops
- 2 tbsp. Crisco
- 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
- 2 c. Minute rice
- 1 can sliced mushrooms, undrained
- 2 c. water
Directions
- Brown chops in Crisco.
- Put rice in 9x13 inch dish.
- Save 1 Tbsp. of onion soup mix and sprinkle remainder over rice.
- Add in mushrooms and water.
- Place browned pork chops on top of rice mix and sprinkle chops with the remaining soup mix.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 min to 1 hour, depending on thickness of chops.
- Remove cover and bake 10 more min or until extra liquid is gone.
