  • Pizza Dough

    Dough doesn't have to be daunting. You'll never buy dough again!

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
    • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
    • 1 c. lukewarm water
    • 3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil

    Directions

    1. Combine yeast, sugar and water. Stir to dissolve and let stand 10 min, until it bubbles.
    2. Combine in large bowl: flour and salt.
    3. Make a well in center for the yeast mix.
    4. Work dough until stiff then turn out on floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic (5 min).
    5. Make a ball and place into oiled medium size bowl.
    6. Turn dough to coat all over with oil.
    7. Cover with towel. Let rise in hot place (45 min or until dough doubles in size).
    8. Punch down and roll out.
    9. Top with whatever you want!
