Pineapple Fried Rice
Ingredients
- 2-3 tbsp of chinese chorizo
- 3 cloves of crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp of chopped onion
- 3 tbsp of chopped carrot
- 3-4 medium size shrimp, peeled and sliced
- 1 small egg, beaten
- 1 tsp of patis
- 1/2 cup of pineapple tidbits, drained (Del Monte preferably)
- 1/3 cup of finely shredded cabbage
- 2-3 cups of cooked rice
Directions
- Saute chorizo until oil comes out of it. Set the cooked chorizo aside, and on the same pan add oil then saute garlic, onion, carrots, and shrimps. Add egg and then cook until just set. Add chorizo, patis, pineapple tidbits, cabbage, and rice. Mix well. Cook for 3-5 minutes under low heat while stirring constantly.
