  • PINEAPPLE CHEESE BALL with a KICK

    Ingredients

    • 2 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 c. drained crushed pineapple
    • 2 T. chopped green pepper
    • 2 Tsp. seasoned salt
    • 2 T. chopped onion
    • 2 c. chopped pecans
    • dash of red pepper flakes to taste for a kick - optional

    Directions

    1. To softened cream cheese
    2. add green pepper, onion, red pepper flakes, pineapple, seasoned salt and 1 c. pecans; mix well.
    3. Shape into ball and roll in remaining pecans.
    4. Chill for several hours.
    5. Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables.

      Hi Martha, I'm so glad to see this recipe! It reminds me of a cream cheese spread that Kraft used to put out years ago, and I loved it. Your recipe looks like something I would love even more, what with all those flavors and textures going on! Thanks for sharing...I will be making this for our Thanksgiving gathering this weekend.
