    Ingredients

    • 3 pounds okra washed
    • 1 to 2 garlic cloves
    • Mixed pickling spice
    • 1 quart white vinegar
    • 1 quart water
    • 1/2 cup canning salt

    Directions

    1. Place first 4 ingredients in your jar I pack
    2. The okra in where it is tight if you don't put
    3. Enough okra in the jar when the process is done all the okra will float up and it won't look like very many is in the jar.
    4. Heat liquids and salt to a boil then pour into each jar I use a soup ladle fill jars to one inch head space and put on your flats and rings and set in a hot water bath and boil for five minutes take out and let cool on cooling you will hear popping sounds this means they are sealing
