Pecan Sticky Buns
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 c. pecans halves
- 1 loaf frzn bread dough (thawed and at room temperature)
Directions
- In a heavy oven proof skillet (10 inch) bring to a boil butter, corn syrup, and brown sugar over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. Cold slightly and arrange pecan halves (flat side up) on the bottom of the skillet.
- On lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 16 x 12 inch rectangle. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar. Roll up tightly from long side - healthy pinch to create a seal. Cut into 1 inch slices. Arrange 1/2 inch apart.
- Cover, let rise 30 min or possibly till doubled. Bake in the center of the oven at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 min. Makes 16.
