    Peachy Cream Cheese Appetizers

    Ingredients

    • 2 cans Refrigerated Crescent Dough Sheets
    • 2 pkg Cream Cheese, cut into 24 pieces
    • 12 oz jar Peach Preserve
    • 2 T Finely Chopped Shallots
    • 1 md Lime, grated and juiced
    • 1/2 t Chili Powder
    • 1/2 t Ground Cumin
    • 2 t Dried Parsley
    • Parsley for garnish

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350°F
    2. Uroll 1 dough sheet and cut into 12 squares
    3. Place 1 dough square in bottom and up side of each of 24 ungreased regular-size muffin cups
    4. Let points of dough extend over edge of cup
    5. Place 1 piece of cream cheese in bottom of each cup
    6. Bake 12 to 17 minutes or until golden brown
    7. Meanwhile, add peach preserves, shallots, 2 teaspoons lime juice, chili powder, parsley and cumin to a md sauce pan; mix well
    8. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until thoroughly heated
    9. Remove from heat
    10. Remove cups from pans; place on serving platter
    11. Immediately spoon about 1 teaspoon peach sauce over cream cheese in each cup
    12. Sprinkle each cup with parsley
    13. Serve warm
