- Potatoes – 2 medium sized potatoes
- Grated coconut – 2 tablespoons
- Green chillies – 4
- A sprig of curry leaves
- Mustard – 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Oil for tempering
Directions
- 1)Boil and peel the potatoes and set aside
- .
- 2)Mash the potatoes and add the grated coconut, salt and water.
- 3)In a kadai, heat some oil and add the mustard. Once the mustard stops sputtering, add the green chillies and curry leaves and finally add the potato/coconut mixture.
- 4)Boil well and simmer for a few minutes.
