Palak- Beetroot kofta
Ingredients
- 250 gm beetroot
- 250 gm spinach
- 200 gm cottage cheese
- 100 gm onion
- 100 gm tomato
- 2 tbsp mango powder
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 4 Tbsp vegetable oil
Directions
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, fry onion and tomato paste until the paste is golden brown.
- Steam spinach and make a smooth paste.
- Add spinach paste to onion tomato mix.
- Let it cook until spinach is done.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder and mix well.
- Cook for 5 min and take off from the heat.
- Kofta-
- Grate beet root and mix it with mashed paneer.
- Add mango powder and mix well.
- Make balls of the mix and shallow fry it (optional)
- Put the spinach mix in the serving dish, add beet root kofta to it and serve.
