  • P.'S Sweet Potato Pie

    Ingredients

    • 3-4 lg. sweet potatoes (2 1/4 lbs.)
    • 1/2 c. butter, softened
    • 2 c. sugar
    • 4 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
    • 1 tall (13 ounce) can Pet lowfat milk
    • 2 (9 inch) Pet-Ritz deep dish pie crust shells, unbaked

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven and cookie sheets to 375 degrees. Boil sweet potatoes in water till easily pierced by fork. Cool slightly. Place cooked and peeled potatoes in large mixing bowl. Beat with electric mixer till smooth. Stir in butter and sugar. Beat in large eggs, one at a time. Fold in spices, salt and Pet lowfat milk. Pour into unbaked pie crusts. Bake on preheated cookie sheet near center of oven for 70 min or possibly till knife inserted in center comes out clean.
