Oven - Fried Buffalo Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- Blue cheese dressing (Marie's Brand is best!)
- 2 lbs. chicken wings
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 T butter
- 1 T vinegar
- 1/2 to 1 1/2 teaspoon red pepper sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Cut each chicken wing at joints to make 3 pcs; throw away tip. Cut off excess skin; throw away. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Heat 2 tbsp of the butter in rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, till melted. Coat wing pcs with flour; shake off excess flour. Arrange wings in pan. Bake, uncovered, 20 min. Turn. Bake, uncovered, till light golden, 20 to 25 min longer. Drain.Heat other tbsp butter and mix with vinegar, pepper sauce, and salt in 3 qt bowl till well blended. Add in wings; toss till evenly coated with pepper sauce mix. Serve with Blue cheese dressing. About 24 appetizers.
