    Ingredients

    • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
    • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    • 3 Tablespoons baking cocoa
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 cup applesauce
    • 1/4 cup light vegetable oil
    • 3 Tablespoons Flax Seed

    Directions

    1. Mix all dry ingredients except seeds, in an ungreased square baking pan.
    2. Beat the eggs and then add to the dry ingredients along with the applesauce and oil.
    3. Using a large fork mix until all ingredients blend and batter is reasonably smooth.
    4. Fold in flax seeds.
    5. Bake 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
