  • No Fault 100% Whole Wheat Bread

    Ingredients

    • 7 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    • 2 T dry yeast
    • 3 1/2 to 4 c. hot water
    • 2 T honey
    • 1/4 c. molasses
    • 2 T salt
    • 2 loaf pans

    Directions

    1. Place flour in a large bowl and set in oven at lowest temperature for 20 min. While flour is warming, dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water; add in honey to this mix and set aside.Dissolve molasses in 1 cup warm water, set aside.
    2. When flour has warmed, put together yeast and molasses mixtures, add in to flour along with the salt. Stir vigorously, slowly adding the remaining water to produce a sticky dough. Oil bread pans and put dough 1/3 to 1/2 full in pans. Let rise 1 hour. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake 35-40 min. Remove and let cool in pans 20 min. Then remove to cooling racks. Yield: 2 loaves.
