No Fault 100% Whole Wheat Bread
Ingredients
- 7 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 T dry yeast
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. hot water
- 2 T honey
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 2 T salt
- 2 loaf pans
Directions
- Place flour in a large bowl and set in oven at lowest temperature for 20 min. While flour is warming, dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water; add in honey to this mix and set aside.Dissolve molasses in 1 cup warm water, set aside.
- When flour has warmed, put together yeast and molasses mixtures, add in to flour along with the salt. Stir vigorously, slowly adding the remaining water to produce a sticky dough. Oil bread pans and put dough 1/3 to 1/2 full in pans. Let rise 1 hour. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake 35-40 min. Remove and let cool in pans 20 min. Then remove to cooling racks. Yield: 2 loaves.
