MUSHROOM ON TOAST
Ingredients
- 2 pkts button mushrooms
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper,1/2 cup white wine
- salt to taste
- For serving:
- 4 slices bread,toasted and cut into triangles
- butter for the toast
Directions
- Wipe the mushrooms and slice them.
- In a pan heat the butter,add the plain flour and saute for a min.
- Add the garlic and sauté more for few mins until light brown.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and little salt.
- Stir the mushrooms until it is coated with the flour mixture.
- Add the milk,stir and let it boil.
- As soon as it thickens add the fresh cream,herbs pepper and salt to taste.
- Add the white wine.
- Remove from heat and serve with buttered toast.
- Enjoy
