  • MUSHROOM ON TOAST

    Ingredients

    • 2 pkts button mushrooms
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 cup fresh cream
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 1 tbsp plain flour
    • 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • 1 tsp mixed herbs
    • 1/2 tsp ground pepper,1/2 cup white wine
    • salt to taste
    • For serving:
    • 4 slices bread,toasted and cut into triangles
    • butter for the toast

    Directions

    1. Wipe the mushrooms and slice them.
    2. In a pan heat the butter,add the plain flour and saute for a min.
    3. Add the garlic and sauté more for few mins until light brown.
    4. Add the sliced mushrooms and little salt.
    5. Stir the mushrooms until it is coated with the flour mixture.
    6. Add the milk,stir and let it boil.
    7. As soon as it thickens add the fresh cream,herbs pepper and salt to taste.
    8. Add the white wine.
    9. Remove from heat and serve with buttered toast.
    10. Enjoy
