  • Mrs Fields Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars

    Ingredients

    • 8 med Butter cookies
    • 1/4 c. Salted butter melted
    • 2 1/2 c. Lowfat milk choc chips(15 ounce)
    • 1 1/2 c. Creamy peanut butter
    • 1/2 c. Salted butter softened
    • 3 c. Confectioners' sugar
    • 2 tsp Pure vanilla extract

    Directions

    1. *Crush cookies till finely grnd. Add in butter & mix. Press crumb mix into bottom of 8x8 baking pan & bake 10 mins. at 325 F. Cold to room temperature.*Heat chocolate. Pour half into pan & smooth proportionately over crust. Place pan in refrigerator. Keep remaining choc. hot.*Blend peanut butter & butter together till smooth using electric mixer. Slowly beat in confectioners' sugar & vanilla. Beat till smooth. Spread mix over chilled chocolate layer. Pour remaining hot chocolate over top & spread smoothly. Refrigeratein refrigerator one hour.
    2. Yields 24-36 bars.
