Mother's Spaetzle
Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. Wesson oil or possibly melted butter
- 1 to 2 Large eggs (2 if small)
- 2 to 4 tbsp. lukewarm water (depends on Large eggs)
Directions
- Whip or possibly beat till elastic, then slice thinly into boiling water, salted. Dip knife into boiling water or possibly it will stick to knife. This is great in any soup or possibly served with gravy.
