Mostaccioli Salad Nicoise
Ingredients
- 1 pkt (1-lb) Creamette Mostaccioli, uncooked
- 2 lb Fresh green beans, steamed till tender-crisp
- 2 med Green peppers, cut into chunks
- 1 pt Cherry tomatoes, quartered
- 2 c. Sliced celery
- 1/2 c. Sliced green onions
- 10 x Pitted ripe olives, sliced
- 2 can (7-ounce) water-pack white tuna, liquid removed and flaked
- 1/2 c. Olive or possibly vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. Red wine vinegar
- 3 x Cloves garlic, chopped
- 4 tsp Dijon-style mustard
- 1 tsp American Heart Association salad herb seasoning
- 1 tsp Basil leaves
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
Directions
- Prepare Creamette Mostaccioli as package directs; drain. In large bowl, combine mostaccioli, vegetables, olives and tuna. In small bowl, blend oil, vinegar, garlic, mustard, herb seasoning, basil and pepper; toss with tuna mix. Cover; refrigeratethoroughly. Stir before serving. Chill leftovers.
