Beef recipe that is cooked slowly with love. Ingredients
- Beef flank (nilapad)
- Pepper
- Calamansi (lemon)
- Soy sauce
- Vienna sausage
- Bacon
- Cheese
- Hard boiled eggs
- carrot
- Garlic
- Onion
- Parsley
- Tomato sauce
Directions
- Marinate beef in lemon juice, soy sauce and pepper to taste for 10 minutes. Drain and save marinade.
- Spread beef flank and arrange on it, in lengthwise rows, Vienna sausage, sweet pickles, bacon, cheese, olives, hard-boiled eggs and carrot. Roll with meat grain lengthwise and tie with a string.
- Simmer in oil in a mixture of marinade, garlic, onion, tomato sauce and water for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer meat roll to a platter, remove string and slice crosswise into 1/2-inch thickness.
- Pour sauce over meat and garnish with parsley.
