Mom's Turkey Stuffing
Ingredients
- 1 bag plain toasted croutons
- 1 sm. bag mushrooms
- 1 lg. onion
- 4 to 5 stalks celery
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1/2 pound butter
Directions
- Peel and cut mushrooms. Brown mushrooms in a few Tbsp. of butter. Dice onion, celery and parsley. Place those ingredients in a large bowl. Just before stuffing the turkey, heat 1/2 lb. butter.
- Add in the croutons, melted butter, salt and pepper. Mix. Put the stuffing in the turkey, making sure not to pack the ingredients too tightly.
