Mom's Pork Dressing
Ingredients
- 1 loaf white bread, (set out to dry overnight)
- Turkey neck and giblets (boiled till done)
- 1 pound pork sausage
- 2 c. minced celery
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 egg
- Broth, reserved from cooked giblets
Directions
- Brown sausage in large pan, drain. Remove cooked sausage and set aside. In same pan, saute/fry onion and celery. Cube the dry white bread and add in to celery and onion. Also add in sausage. Add in 1 egg and sufficient broth to moisten mix. Season with salt and pepper and poultry seasoning to taste. Place stuffing in a large baking pan, bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 min or possibly till hard and done.
