Mittney's Sour Milk Coffee Cake
Ingredients
- 3 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 1/2 c. sour lowfat milk or possibly buttermilk with 1/2 teaspoon soda1 egg
Directions
- Work above ingredients together like pie dough till crumbly. Reserve 1 cup of crumbly mix for sprinkling on top. Add in:
- Mix well and divide into 3 small pie pans that are greased and lightly floured. Sprinkle crumbs over top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min. Can add in coconut, nuts, cereal, etc. to crumbs for top. Freezes well and stays moist.
