Meatball sub/sandwhich
This is quick and easy .It can even be prepped ahead of time.My kids love it. Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- parsley
- basil
- 1 tbs italian seasoning
- 3 links italian sausage taken out of casing
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup italian breadcrumbs
- add milk to keep mixture moist when mixing(not much)
- Your favorite store bought pasta sauce or make your own
Directions
- Mix together all ingredients and shape into balls.Whatever size you like.
- Sear meatballs to get a good crustin shallow pan of oil
- Do not attempt to cook them just sear
- Take out of pan and put into sauce and let simmer about 20 to 30 min.
- place meatballs on your favorite sub roll or bread
- top with mozzarella or my daughter's favorite provolone
