  • Meat Pasta Sauce In Crock Pot

    Ingredients

    • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 x Onion, minced
    • 1/2 lb Italian Sausage, bulk
    • 1 lb Grnd Beef, lean
    • 2 can , (28 ounce) Italian Tomatoes, liquid removed and minced
    • 1 can , (28 ounce) Crushed Tomatoes
    • 1 can , (28 ounce) Tomato Sauce
    • 1 can , (6 ounce) Tomato Paste
    • 1 Tbsp. Anchovy Paste
    • 1 tsp Basil
    • 1 tsp Oregano
    • 1 tsp Rosemary
    • 1 x Bay Leaf
    • 1/4 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
    • 1/4 c. Dry Red Wine
    • 4 x Garlic Cloves, chopped or possibly put through press
    • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
    • 1 tsp Instant Beef Bouillon
    • 2 tsp Sugar
    • 1 tsp Brown Sugar
    • 2 Tbsp. Romano Cheese, finely grated Pasta

    Directions

    1. Saute/fry onion in oil; add in sausage and beef, a little at a time and cook over medium high heat till browned; drain and add in to crock pot with all remaining ingredients except cheese; cover crock pot and cook on low 5 to 6 hrs; just before serving add in cheese and stir to mix; serve over your favorite pasta.
