Meat Balls In Sour Cream Gravy
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. grnd beef
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. onion or possibly less, minced
- 2 (4 1/2 ounce.) cans pitted ripe olives (I didn't use)
- 3 tbsp. enriched flour
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 teaspoon dill seed or possibly weed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tbsp. fat
Directions
- Combine meat, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, pepper, Large eggs, and onion; mix well. Shape meat balls around pitted olive (I didn't do this - I just made the balls). Brown in warm fat. Remove from skillet; keep warm. Remove 3 Tbsp. fat in skillet. Add in flour; blend. Add in water. Cook and stir till thick. Add in lowfat sour cream, dill seed or possibly weed, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Pour over meat balls. Serve with cooked broad noodles. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
