• Marilyn's Marvelous Magic Sugar Cookies

    • 3 c. flour
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 1/2 c. sugar
    • 2 med. Large eggs
    • 1 tbsp. vanilla
    • 4 tbsp. evaporated lowfat milk
    • 2/3 c. butter


    1. Sift together flour, baking pwdr and salt. Cream sugar, butter and Large eggs together till light. Add in vanilla, lowfat milk and sifted ingredients. Mix well. Refrigeratedough. Reserve 1/2 c. for decorating and then roll out 1/8 inch thick. Dough may be stored in refrigerator as long as 2 weeks before use.
    2. Cut out cookies, decorate with colored decorating dough and bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 min. If you are making several sheets of cookies, cover each sheet with plastic wrap till you decorate them so they won't dry out. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
