I had some very Ripe Apples and 4 Bananas that were getting really brown so I added them to this reciepe, If you find that the Apples while peeling them are getting to brown then add a little lemon juice to them..then I added the Rum extract and wow that was a good idea! Then I thought hum Cream Cheese would go really well in this recipe so I added 4oz of softened cream cheese..You can also use the weight watchers or low fat Cream Cheese. Heads up.. I found that the Cream Cheese takes forever to melt, and it gets clumpy doesn't change the taste, but if you can actually almost melt it and then add it, it will blend in better!!

    Ingredients

    • 5 Apples
    • 4 Bananas
    • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
    • 2 tbs Cinnamon
    • 4 tbs Butter or Margarine
    • 4oz Cream Cheese softened, you may use the microwave
    • 2 tsp Rum Extract
    • 2/3 cup Maple Syrup or Sugar Cane Syrup
    • 1/4 Apple Juice

    Directions

    1. Peel 5 Apples, 4 Bananas, and slice the apples to your liking I quarterd them, then slice the Bananas
    2. Melt the Butter over medium heat watching to make sure it doesn't Scorch, add the Apples and Bananas,Maple Syrup or Sugar Cane Syrup, Bown Sugar, Cinnamon, and the Rum extract and cook till Apples are transparent, stirring often to keep from burning when there ready add the 1/4 cup of Apple Juice, the melted or softened Cream Cheese, best to add a little Cream Chesse at a time so it doesn't get to thick, I always add more Cinnamon I love Cinnamon and so does my husband and In-laws
    3. Enjoy, put fresh Whipped Cream on top and oh my this is so good like a pudding !!
