  • Maggi Lasagne

    Ingredients

    • 2 tsp oil
    • 500 gm chopped beef
    • 1 pkt MAGGI Lasagne Cook in the Pot Recipe Mix
    • 1/4 c. water
    • 1 x 425 gram can tomato puree
    • 6 x MAGGI Lasagne Sheets, (6 to 8)
    • 1 c. grated cheese
    • 1 c. cheese sauce, MAGGI or possibly homemade extra grated cheese, (parmesan if preferred)

    Directions

    1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Add in the mince and brown over a high heat. Drain the oil.
    2. Combine the MAGGI Lasagne Recipe Mix, water and tomato puree and add in to the pan.
    3. Bring to the boil, stirring, then simmer over a low heat for 5 min.
    4. Spread one-third of the mince mix over the base of a 22cm square ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. grated cheese. Cover with lasagne sheets. Repeat the layers.
    5. Top with the remaining mince mix. Pour the cheese sauce over the mince. Top with extra grated cheese.
    6. Cook in a preheated oven, 180 C, for 40-45 min or possibly till the pasta is tender and the topping is golden.
    7. Stand for 5 min before serving. Serve with a green salad.
