Low Fat Apple Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 3/4 c. nonfat lowfat milk
- 2 x egg whites
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 c. minced apples
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Lightly grease one 12-c. muffin tin.
- Lightly beat egg whites.
- In a separate bowl mix dry ingredients thoroughly.
- In another bowl, mix remaining ingredients.
- Gently mix in egg whites.
- Add in to the dry ingredients.
- Stir till barely moistened. Batter will be lumpy.
- Fill greased muffin tins two-thirds full.
- Bake about 20 min till lightly browned.
