Low Cholesterol Walnut Scones
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb margarine
- 8 ounce Bread flour
- 2 lb whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 ounce Baking pwdr
- 12 ounce Egg white
- 1/3 ounce Baking soda
- 6 ounce Honey
- 10 ounce Rolled oats
- 14 ounce Raisins
- 1 1/4 lb yogurt
- 1 lb walnuts
Directions
- Cut margarine into whole wheat flour, baking pwdr and baking soda. Add in all remaining ingredients and lightly combine to incorporate on 1st speed of 3-speed mixer. Put onto a floured surface and roll even about 2-in. thick.
- Cut with a biscuit cutter. Place on a paper-lined or possibly oiled sheet pan. Bake at 350 degrees F 12-15 min.
