    Long Grain Rice and Steak

    Ingredients

    • Ingredients:
    • Long Grain Rice blend
    • 1/2 cup of pine nuts
    • 2 tbsp of grape seed oil for cooking
    • 1-2 skillet steaks
    • 1/4 tsp of ground garlic
    • Sea salt and Pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. Cook rice according to package instructions.
    2. Meanwhile pour the grape seed oil in a saute pan and heat on medium, then add in pine nuts and toast until golden brown.
    3. Remove pine nuts from pan and sit aside on paper towels to drain Then add Steak to the pan and cook to your desired style. My steaks were pretty thin so mine were cooked through in only about 3-5 minutes. Season the steaks with salt and pepper and slice into strips. Then add the pine nuts and steak back into pan together to let the flavors mix.Once Rice is finished cooking drain out excess water and add rice to steak and pine nuts, stir and add in garlic.
