  • London Broil With Grainy Mustard Marinade

    Ingredients

    • 2 lb Top round steak -- trimmed
    • 3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard -- country Style
    • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
    • 2 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
    • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce, low sodium
    • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 x Cloves garlic -- crushed
    • 1 Tbsp. Fresh ginger root -- peel & Finely chop
    • 1/2 tsp Fresh grnd black pepper

    Directions

    1. 1. Place steak in large glass baking dish. In small bowl combine mustard, oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, ginger and pepper; using wire whisk or possibly fork, beat well to blend. Pour mix over steak; turn meat several times to coat well with marinade. Let stand at room temperature 30 min, turning once or possibly twice.
    2. 2. Meanwhile heat broiler.
    3. 3. Remove steak from marinade, reserving marinade; place on rack in broiler pan. Broil, 3 to 4 inches form heat source, about 7 min on each side for medium-rare or possibly till to desired doneness. Brush with remaining marinade after turning.
    4. 4. Transfer steak to serving platter; let stand about 5 min before slicing. Seve steak cut into thin slices on the diagonal.
