  • Loganberry Almond Kiss Dessert Pizza

    Ingredients

    • 2 x 12" Dessert Pizza Shells, unbaked
    • 3 x Egg whites
    • 4 ounce Almond paste
    • 8 ounce Loganberry preserves
    • 3/4 lb Loganberries, whole
    • 1 1/2 c. Almonds, blanched, slivered, and toasted
    • 8 ounce Chocolate chips Confectioners' sugar Whipped cream, Or possibly vanilla ice cream

    Directions

    1. Beat egg whites in mixer with paddle till foamy; add in almond paste and cream till smooth. Add in Loganberry preserves and mix till fully incorporated. Reserve Loganberry mix.
    2. Top each unbaked pizza shell with 1/2 c. of the Loganberry/egg white mix, leaving 1/2-inch border. Bake in 400 degree oven for 7 min.
    3. Remove from oven, and top each pizza with 6 ounce. whole Loganberries, 3/4 c. toasted almonds and 4 ounce. chocolate chips. Return to oven and bake for an additional 7 min.
    4. Remove and let cold for fifteen min. Serve hot, dusted with confectioners' sugar and topped with whipped cream or possibly vanilla ice cream.
