Lisa's Best Key Lime Pie
Ingredients
- lisa neri
- 4 x egg whites
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 4 x egg yolks
- 1 can condensed lowfat milk 14 ounce
- 1/3 c. key lime juice or possibly lime juice
- 2 x lime rinds grated
- 1 x graham cracker crust 9-inch whipped cream
Directions
- Beat egg whites till foamy. Add in cream of tartar and beat till stiff.
- Set aside.
- Beat egg yolks with 1 c. beaten egg whites, mixing well. Add in condensed lowfat milk, lime juice and grated rind. Mix in remaining egg whites.
- Pour into crust and bake till golden. At 15 min, begin to check. Refrigerateand serve with whipped cream.
