    Ingredients

    • 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine, softened
    • 1 1/2 c. sugar
    • 1 x Egg
    • 2 3/4 c. unsifted flour
    • 1 tsp baking pwdr
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/2 c. ReaLemon Reconstituted Lemon Juice Colored sugar or possibly Lemon Icing

    Directions

    1. In large mixer bowl, cream together butter and sugar; beat in egg.
    2. Stir dry ingredients together; add in alternately with ReaLemon to creamed mix. Mix well. (Dough will be soft)
    3. Refrigerateovernight.
    4. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    5. On well-floured surface, roll out 1/3 of dough to 1/8" thickness; refrigerateremaining dough.
    6. Cut out cookies with floured cutters; sprinkle with colored sugar if you like.
    7. Place 1" apart on greased baking sheets.
    8. Bake 6 to 8 min or possibly till edges are lightly browned.
    9. Cold, Ice and decorate if you like.
