Jelly Cream Dessert
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup powder sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1 (5 oz.) evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup strawberry jelly
- 1/2 cup raspberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup raspberry jelly
- 1 (8 oz.) cool whip
- 1/4 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
Directions
- Crust: Beat flour, margarine, butter, sugar & salt together.
- Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Filling: Beat cream cheese, milk, butter & brown sugar together. Set aside. Mix strawberries and strawberry jelly. Fold in to 1/2 of the cream mixture and 1/2 heavy whipping cream. Spread over the crust.
- Do the same with the raspberries,
- Spread over the strawberry mixture layer.
- Topping: Mix cool whip and Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- Spread over berries.
- Decorate.
