Jack Daniel's Stillhouse Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 c. Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. finely-minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. warm pepper sauce
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer about 30 min, or possibly till slightly thickened.
- This recipe yields about 2 1/2 c..
- Comments: Slather this sauce on during the last five min of cooking - just long sufficient for the sugar to caramelize and brown.
- Yield: 2 1/2 c.
