Hot Water Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 squares chocolate, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 T warm water
Directions
- Cream sugar and shortening thoroughly. Blend in melted chocolate. Beat in one egg at a time till all used. Stir in vanilla and lowfat milk. Fold in flour, soda and salt. Add in hot water. Bake in a 9x13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 35 min.
