Hot & Spicy Bean Medley
Ingredients
- 1 lg. onion, cooked till tender
- 2 cans pork & beans (one liquid removed)
- 15 ounce. can red kidney beans, liquid removed
- 15 ounce. can white kidney beans, liquid removed
- 15 ounce. can lima beans, liquid removed
- 1 1/2 c. barbeque sauce
- 3/4 pound bacon, minced into pcs, cooked & liquid removed
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a 13"x9" pan. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover during last 15 min of baking time.
- NOTE: This recipe can be made more or possibly less spicy according to what type of barbeque sauce is used. My family likes it warm so I prefer to use "KILLER" barbeque sauce.
