Hot Crab Dip
Ingredients
- 1 x (8-oz) package cream cheese - softened
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise Or possibly
- 1/4 c. salad dressing
- 1/4 c. dry white wine Or possibly
- 1/4 c. apple juice
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp grnd mustard (dry)
- 4 med green onions -- (1/4 c.) thinly sliced
- 1 clv garlic -- finely minced
- 1 x (6-oz) can crabmeat -- liquid removed, cartilage removed and flaked * Assorted crackers -- if you like Or possibly sliced raw vegetables for dipping
- 1/3 c. sliced almonds -- toasted (see Savory Chicken Cheesecake recipe) if you like
Directions
- Heat oven to 3751/4. Mix all ingredients except crabmeat, crackers and almonds in medium bowl till well blended. Stir in crabmeat.
- Spread crabmeat mix in ungreased pie plate, 9 ' 1 1/4 inches, or possibly shallow 1-qt casserole.
- Bake uncovered 15 to 20 min or possibly till warm and bubbly. Serve on crackers. Sprinkle with almonds.
