  • Honey Garlic Ribs

    Ingredients

    • 4 lb pork spareribs
    • 1/2 c. honey
    • 1/4 c. soy sauce
    • 1/4 c. distilled white vinegar
    • 2 clv garlic, crushed, peeled, chopped
    • 2 Tbsp. dark brown sugar
    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • 1 tsp garlic pwdr
    • 1/2 x to 1 tsp. table salt (to taste)

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
    2. Slice the ribs into individual pcs. In a large bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and brown sugar. Stir till honey and sugar are completely dissolved, then stir in the baking soda. The mix will begin to foam. Transfer ribs to the bowl, and turn to coat.
    3. Cover a cookie sheet with foil, and arrange the ribs meat side up on the sheet. Pour excess sauce over all, and sprinkle with the garlic pwdr and salt to taste.
    4. Bake for 1 hour, turning every 20 min.
