  • Homemade Pancakes

    So great for Saturday morning.

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/4 c. flour
    • 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 2 tbsp. sugar
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 egg
    • 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk (for thicker pancakes, use 3/4 c.)
    • 3 tbsp. melted butter or Crisco oil

    Directions

    1. In medium bowl sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
    2. In small bowl beat egg well, add in lowfat milk and melted butter or Crisco oil.
    3. Slowly stir into flour mix, mixing only until dry ingredients are wet. Fry on warm griddle.
