Homemade Pancakes
So great for Saturday morning. Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk (for thicker pancakes, use 3/4 c.)
- 3 tbsp. melted butter or Crisco oil
Directions
- In medium bowl sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
- In small bowl beat egg well, add in lowfat milk and melted butter or Crisco oil.
- Slowly stir into flour mix, mixing only until dry ingredients are wet. Fry on warm griddle.
