  • Holiday Pumpkin Chiffon Dream Southern Living

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 c. Finely grnd pecans
    • 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
    • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
    • 1/3 c. Butter or possibly margarine, melted
    • 1 x Unflavored gelatin
    • 1/2 c. Frzn orange juice concentrate - thawed
    • 1 can Sweetened condensed lowfat milk, (14-ounce)
    • 3 x Egg yolks
    • 2 tsp Pumpkin pie spice
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 1 can Pumpkin, (15-ounce)
    • 1 x Frzn whipped, (8-ounce) thawed topping

    Directions

    1. Combine first 4 ingredients, and press mix onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 375 for 12 min or possibly till browned; cold. Sprinkle gelatin over orange juice in a medium saucepan; let stand 1 minute. Stir in condensed lowfat milk and next 3 ingredients. Cook mix over medium heat, stirring constantly, 15 to 20 min or possibly till slightly thickened. Remove from heat, and stir in pumpkin; cold. Mix in whipped topping, and pour pumpkin mix into prepared crust. Refrigerateat least 4 hrs or possibly overnight.
    2. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
