  • Hershey's Syrup Two Tone Cake

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkt yellow light cake mix (18 1/4 oz)
    • 2 env natural butter flavor granules
    • 1 pkt nonfat cream cheese (8 oz)
    • 1 c. water
    • 3 x egg whites
    • 1 tsp almond extract optional
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 c. all-purpose flour
    • 1 c. sugar
    • 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
    • 1 c. Hershey's syrup
    • 4 x egg whites

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350 F. Spray a 15 1/2 x10 1/2x1 1/8 inch baking pan with vegetable oil spray. In a large bowl, blend dry cake mix, butter granules, cream cheese, water, egg whites, almond extract, if you like and vanilla till combined; spread proportionately into prepared pan. Prepare Topping: Pour proportionately over vanilla batter n prepared pan. Bake 35-40 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold completely in pan on wire rack. Serve with whipped topping and additional chocolate syrup, if you like. Cover; chill leftover cake.
    2. Hershey's Syrup Topping: In a small bowl, beat flour, sugar, baking pwdr, syrup and egg whites till combined.
