Herb Chicken and Rice
Our family favorite! Never met anyone that didn't love it! Serve over white rice. Ingredients
- 8 bone-in chicken thighs
- 1/2 t.salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 1/4 cup margerine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 c. white cooking wine
- 1 8 oz can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
- 1 4.5 oz can sliced mushrooms
- 2 T. chopped green peppers
- 1/4 t. crushed thyme
Directions
- Place chicken in 9x13 dish, skin side p. Add all ingredients and stir well. Pour over chicken. Cover with foil and back at 350 degrees for 25 minuets, uncover and back at 25-30 minuets more. Serve over white rice.
