  • Healthy Lasagna

    Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp. butter
    • 1 1/4 lbs. grnd round
    • 1/3 c. minced onion
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 8 ounce. lasagna noodles (6)
    • 1 (15 ounce.) tomato sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    • 1 1/2 c. low-fat cottage cheese

    Directions

    1. In skillet heat butter, brown onion and meat. Drain if excess fat. Add in salt and mix. Meanwhile, cook noodles to directions; drain. Add in tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and cottage cheese to 3 noodles in a sprayed or possibly lightly greased (butter) 13x9 baking dish.
    2. Put 1/2 meat mix, 1/2 Mozzarella cheese. Repeat noodles and put remaining meat and Mozzarella cheese. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Let stand 10 min to cold.
